Job Summary

Zoho is inviting talented and passionate freshers to join our Research and Development Internship program. This role offers an incredible opportunity to work on innovative projects, develop technical expertise, and contribute to real-world product development. As an intern in the R&D department, you will collaborate with experienced engineers, explore emerging technologies, and play a key role in creating solutions that empower millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, developing, and testing software solutions for Zoho products.

  • Conduct research on new tools, frameworks, and technologies relevant to ongoing projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and refine product features.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for product improvement.

  • Document research findings, technical specifications, and project progress.

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues under the guidance of senior developers.

  • Support the team in prototyping and validating new concepts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (pursuing or completed) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.

  • Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software development methodologies.

  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Experience

  • No prior work experience required — fresh graduates and final-year students are welcome to apply.

  • Prior exposure to coding projects, internships, or open-source contributions will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

  • Full-time internship; standard working hours (Monday to Friday).

  • Flexible timing may be available based on project requirements.
