<strong>Summary: </strong>As a Warehouse Packer, your main responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders. This includes reading order details, verifying items and quantities, and using an iPad for scanning and validation. You'll stack items onto pallets and secure them for transport with straps and stretch wrap. You will handle products that weigh approximately 50 pounds. The role involves approximately 80% manual labor and up to 20% forklift use as needed.<br><br><strong>Work Hours: </strong>Monday to Friday from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, 2 Saturday(s) a month from 07:00 AM to 12:00 PM<br><br><strong>Seniority Level: </strong>Entry Level<br><br><strong>Employment Type: </strong>Full-time<br><br><strong>Compensation: </strong>This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $18.75 to $21.75 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $47,000 and $62,600 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.<br><br><strong>To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Read order details and verify correct items and quantities for customer orders.</li><li>Utilize an iPad for scanning and validating order details.</li><li>Stack items on pallets and secure them for transport using straps and stretch wrap.</li><li>Stand, walk, bend, and lift products for a full 10-hour shift, potentially extending to 12 hours during peak periods.</li><li>Occasionally use forklifts, but primarily perform manual packing of tile and flooring products<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:<br><br></strong><ul><li>High School Education or equivalent required.</li><li>One (1) year of Warehouse experience.</li><li>Forklift experience is a plus.</li><li>Ability to use a tablet.<br><br></li></ul><strong>This Role Has The Following Physical Demands<br><br></strong><ul><li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
