VETERINARY CARE REPRESENTATIVE Location: Richardson, TX Job Description: Veterinary Care Representative (Remote) Pay: $17.50/hour Remote: Must reside in one of the following states -- Arizona, Florida, Texas Chewy Veterinary Care is hiring full-time Veterinary Care Representatives to support pet parents and veterinary practices through compassionate, high-quality customer service. This role is primarily remote but requires living within a commutable distance to our local-area practices for occasional in-person support. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Handle inbound calls from pet parents, veterinary practices, pharmacies, and vendors • Schedule, reschedule, and manage wellness, sick, surgical, and urgent appointments • Answer questions about services and assist with appointment-related needs • Conduct follow-ups and outreach for prior medical requests and authorizations • Research and resolve customer issues using active listening and problem-solving skills • Collaborate with teams and leaders using virtual tools (Zoom, Slack) WHAT YOU’LL NEED • 1–3+ years of small animal veterinary or related industry experience • Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced, virtual call center environment • Comfort using multiple computer systems and navigating online resources • Flexibility to adjust schedule and work overtime as needed • Ability to maintain confidentiality and pass a background check REMOTE & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS • Dedicated, distraction-free workspace suitable for webcam use • Wired high-speed internet (30 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload minimum) • Cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication • Chewy provides all required equipment WHY CHEWY • Inclusive, supportive culture where you belong • Opportunities for growth and development • Competitive pay, medical & dental insurance, 401(k), and more • Chance to make a real difference for pets and their families Ready to Make a Difference?
