We empower our customers with intelligent, seamless protection across the expanding attack surface and the power to take on ever-increasing performance requirements of the borderless network: today and into the future.<br><br><strong>Fortinet is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Field CSE to be a key driver in the adoption of our cutting-edge cloud security solutions (including Next-Generation Firewall, Application Security, Web Application Firewall, Secure Access Service Edge, and more) across major public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), within the South East US region.<br><br></strong><strong>In this role, you will collaborate closely with Customers, Account Managers, Solutions Engineers, Territory Leaders, and Cloud Consulting Architects to design and deliver well-architected cloud security solutions that address critical business needs.<br><br></strong><strong>Responsibilities: <br><br></strong><ul><li> Provide technical guidance on Public Cloud matters to regional sellers and customers </li><li> Use and demonstrate automation services for cloud service provisioning </li><li> Translate business requirements into technical requirements </li><li> Design complex cloud networking architectures satisfying CSP best practices </li><li> Conduct proof of concepts </li><li> Lead customer-facing presentations </li><li> Lead training activities for internal partners and customers </li><li> Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud security threats, trends, and Fortinet product updates relevant to public cloud environments <br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li> 2 years of experience in the design and implementation of Public Cloud services on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc </li><li> Experience in network security concepts and technologies, including VPN, Proxies, Authentication mechanisms (e.g., SAML, OAuth), and Firewall principles. </li><li> Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and orchestration tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM). </li><li> Proven presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences of varying sizes and technical backgrounds. </li><li> General understanding of cloud marketplace dynamics and private offers within public cloud platforms is a plus. </li><li> Experience with containerization technologies including Kubernetes and Docker, and their security implications in cloud environments. </li><li> Awareness and practical understanding of APIs and applications in cloud environments </li><li> Scripting experience with a major language such as Python, nice to have </li><li> Understanding of database services such as DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, etc. , nice to have </li><li> Ability to use data structures such as yaml, XML, JSON, nice to have </li><li> Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion. </li><li> Experience with effective evaluation process and closure (will be a plus) </li><li> Technical experience and understanding of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platforms and their components (e.g., SWG, CASB, ZTNA) is a significant plus. </li><li> Willingness and ability to travel as required for customer engagements, internal meetings and cloud marketing events. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Education:<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering (Computer, Electrical, or related), or a closely related technical field. </li><li> Equivalent industry experience and relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree. </li><li> Advanced degree (Master's) in a relevant field is a plus. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Relevant industry certifications such as (a plus):<br><br></strong><ul><li> AWS Certified Security – Specialty </li><li> Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate </li><li> Google Cloud Certified – Security Engineer </li><li> Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) </li><li> Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) </li><li> Other cloud platform-specific security certifications. <br><br></li></ul>Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. On target earnings for this position is expected to be $200,000 - $240,000 per year. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
